Thesis dedicated to patients.

Marek Jantos dedicates his Ph.D thesis, A Psychophysiological Perspective on Vulvodynia, to his patients. In the dedication he states “This work is dedicated to my patients whose willingness to share their experiences has led me to a better understanding of this disorder.” Marek estimates treating between three and four thousand vulvodynia patients since redirecting his attention to the management of this disorder. His work with vulvodynia commenced at the Sexual Medicine Unit at the Canberra Hospital where he was invited by Dr Gordon White, a senior specialist and director of the unit. In 2010 two major textbooks addressing pelvic disorders will include chapter contributions.
